:- 3.0 out of 5 stars from island reader -- Plots Getting Very Repetitive : I enjoy reading this series, but this one in particular seemed like I had already read it. The same scenes, just with a different location, the same dangerous dog walks late at night, so many murders at a party etc etc. I was able to correctly guess the murderer from the first time they made an appearance in this story. I also guessed how the murderer would be caught. No surprise ending here. I will probably keep reading The Tea Shop Mysteries, if, for nothing else, the wonderful descriptions of Charleston life and the mouth watering food! Burdge -- good book : I have all of the tea shop mystery books, my sister started me on this series years ago, and i was happy to see that 2 came out this year instead of the normal 1 book a year in March, as always this is a excellent book and makes you feel like you are right there with Dayton, Theodosia and Haley, i wont say what happens in this book in case you have not read it, if you are a fan of the series you will not be disappointed ( Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2021 )
